The Panoramadeck, located on the third floor of the museum, offers a magnificent view of the grounds, including the chimney of the former factory. Here, we present changing exhibitions by partners and young talent. These are free to visit.

Panoramadeck welcomes Design Academy Eindhoven
TextielMuseum I TextielLab is a strong advocate of talent development. This is why we offer our continued support and collaboration to students of Design Academy Eindhoven. Every year, a group of fourth year students get to work at TextielLab under the guidance of our product developers. The results of the 2024-2025 group are presented here, on the Panorama Deck of the TextielMuseum.
Research, experimentation and design are central to the time spent working in the TextielLab. The students are offered a wide array of traditional and new techniques and materials. They make use of the industrial machinery and work together with the TextielLab’s experienced product developers to create prototypes, just as professional users of the TextielLab do. They gain an insight into the professional world of makers connected to the Lab, while also being offered of all the other knowledge available in the TextielMuseum for instance through the library and the museum collection.
The Focus Module Textiles at Design Academy is a made-to-measure working experience with ample options and opportunities for personal choices. By collaborating, we offer these new top talents professional opportunities that can help them prepare for their future career.
