Friends’ day
Friends’ Day is an annual event organised by and for the Friends of the TextielMuseum. On this day, which has a different theme every year, we provide a platform for young designers who shed new light on the world of textiles.
Supporting young talented designers is one of the policy spearheads of the Friends of the TextielMuseum Foundation. After the presentations by the young designers, the Friends who are present vote on the most inspiring, interesting or appealing project. The winner is rewarded with the Friends’ Prize of €1,000!

Other activities
In addition to the Friends’ Day, extra activities are organised for members of the Weaver and Designer friend groups, such as for example, a museum visit or an explanation of an exhibition or by the designer, guest curator or textile industry expert.
