Museumgasten x Qult Tilburg, 16 November
Together with Qult Tilburg - a queer collective dedicated to all kinds of queer communities, makers and people in Tilburg - we are organising a special edition of Museum Guests on Sunday 16 November. This edition falls during Transgender Remembrance week and that is no coincidence. During Museumgasten, Qult's hosts, together with curator Adelheid Smit and several guests, will reflect on the overlapping themes of Haus of fibre and Transgender Remembrance week. Read more about the speakers, the programme and tickets here.
Queer City Walk #1 on 22 January and 26 February
After 38 successful editions, the Queer City Walk is now a household name in Tilburg. With enthusiastic guide Martin Luttikholt, you walk past all kinds of points in the city in 1.5 hours that offer historical context as well as highlight contemporary LGBTQ+ spots. Martin's stories and rich anecdotes are not only fun but also of great value in learning more about Tilburg as a pink city of distinction. Two city walks will be organised especially for Haus of fibre, starting at the museum with a short introduction to the exhibition by curator Adelheid Smit and presentation of archive material from the Tilburg Regional Archives. Please note! The walk ends elsewhere in the city. Participation is free, registration required, there is space for 15 people per tour. Registration is possible from mid-November via the Tilburg Regional Archives website. Part of this special Haus of fibre x Queer City Walk edition is a drink at the museum at the start! Will you walk with us?

Museumgasten finissage, 15 March
To close Haus of fibre, we are organising a closing edition of Museumgasten in collaboration with Studio Paul & Haiko – an artist duo from Eindhoven whose practice focuses on repair and queering of both personal and collective history. It is no coincidence that this edition of Museumgasten falls within Queer History Month. Together with various guests, Studio Paul & Haiko will reflect on the overlapping themes of the exhibition Haus of fibre and Queer History Month during Museumgasten.
