THE INDUSTRIAL HERITAGE EXPERIENCE

Guided tour Industrialisation

What used to happen in a textile factory? How was textile produced before the industrial revolution? Where does the term ‘Kruikezeiker’ (Jug Pisser) mean?

During this guided tour, all these questions are answered. The tour also includes an extensive visit to the Woollen Blanket Factory and the steam engine and the Damask loom. Special attention is also paid to the museum building, which was originally a textile mill.
