TextielMuseum and TextielLab Awarded by Province of North Brabant: Visionary and Unique

Following the fantastic BIS results from last week, the TextielMuseum and TextielLab have also received an outstanding review from the Advisory Committee of the Province of North Brabant for the Professional Arts 2025-2028 scheme. Our institute, which unites textile design, fashion, art, and cultural entrepreneurship, has been commended for its artistic and professional excellence.

The Advisory Committee is particularly impressed by the unique and visionary approach of the TextielLab, which serves as an exemplary model for others in the industry. Our diverse activities, spanning experimental research to captivating artworks, have received the highest accolades. Additionally, our robust management and efforts to engage a broad and diverse audience have been highly praised.

A noteworthy highlight from this review is that the TextielLab is the only institution to receive the maximum score of 400 out of 400 points. This remarkable achievement underscores our dedication to quality and innovation and reinforces our role as a significant cultural hub in North Brabant and beyond. As a result, we will receive structural support from the Province of North Brabant for the 2025-2028 period.

With this support and that of the state, we can confidently realize our ambitious plans and take textile art to new heights.
