Heat protocol

On very warm days, our heat protocol comes into effect. Due to the historical building, temperatures can get high, particularly in the TextielLab. When the heat protocol is in force, work in the lab will therefore continue until 2 p.m. on weekdays and until 2.30 p.m. on weekends. The machines will also be switched off after that time. If you visit the museum in the afternoon, you will unfortunately not encounter working machines and staff.
By contrast, the exhibition rooms are air-conditioned and therefore perfect for cooling off on a hot summer’s day.
Already booked tickets, but prefer to visit the museum on a less warm day? No problem! Your ticket remains valid and can be used on an alternative date.
