Green Saturday workshop by TextielMuseum

On Green Saturday, the TextielMuseum shows how important and inspiring it is to use textiles consciously. Every day, we explore the future of textiles at the museum and the TextielLab: we set our heritage in motion and experiment to continue innovating.

With the walk-in workshop Visual Mending, we invite everyone to get started themselves — with attention, creativity and fun. You will learn how to repair and embellish textiles, giving them a second life. In this way, we connect old and new knowledge, technology and imagination. Green Saturday fits in perfectly with this: a day to reflect on what we make, wear and keep — and how we can work together to ensure a more sustainable future for textiles.
